It took us a long time to persuade David Gaff that these doodles and sketches were worth showing. We found them at his studio tucked away in a dusty folder.
We loved them then, we love them now. They reveal the raw jottings and pastel sketches of David Gaff. These doodles found in a sketch book are less than perfect but have aspects of raw brilliance. Never intended for public consumption, we would like to thank David Gaff for agreeing to reveal them and allowing us to publish them.
